Role Overview:
The Outreach Lead is responsible for coordinating with community venues to host performances of the Senior Fraud Fighters program—a creative initiative using puppetry to educate seniors about fraud prevention. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, local knowledge, and a passion for community engagement.
Over a six-week rollout, the Outreach Lead builds relationships with senior centres, libraries, and wellness hubs, ensuring each venue is prepared and supported. The role includes scheduling, logistics coordination, promotional material distribution, and post-event follow-up.
📅 Six-Week Schedule & Duties
Week 1: Sept 9–15 – Venue Outreach
- Contact senior centres and libraries to host shows

Week 2: Sept 16–22 – Scheduling
- Follow up with venues
- Assist Partnerships Lead with introductions
- Begin scheduling tentative show dates

Week 3: Sept 23–29 – Confirmation
- Confirm venue commitments
- Share flyers and press materials
- Coordinate with Marketing Lead for local promotion

Week 4: Sept 30–Oct 6 – Final Prep
- Finalize venue logistics
- Ensure venues have promotional materials
- Support final team handoff

Week 5: Oct 7–13 – Feedback
- Thank venue hosts and share event photos
- Collect feedback from venues and attendees
- Confirm interest in future collaborations
- Update venue contact list

- Identify new venues for future shows
- Begin outreach to new wellness centres and libraries
- Share recap materials
