🌿 Tau Reiki: Healing Across Lineages

A fusion of Japanese and Western Reiki informed by neuroscience

This program brings together the wisdom of Japanese and Western Reiki traditions in a unified, community-rooted practice. Whether you are new to Reiki or continuing your journey, this training honors the healing power of touch, breath, and intention—while grounding each step in ethical care and cultural respect.

We believe Reiki is not only a healing art, but a way of life. It is a practice of presence, compassion, and connection.

🌀 What Is Reiki?

Reiki is a form of energy therapy that channels life force through the hands, breath, and gaze of the practitioner. It supports physical, emotional, and spiritual healing by activating the body’s natural capacity to restore balance.

In this program, we explore:

  • Japanese Reiki: Rooted in the teachings of Mikao Usui, with emphasis on intuitive practice, meditative techniques, and traditional lineage.
  • Western Reiki: Developed through the work of Hawayo Takata and her students, with structured hand positions and a focus on accessibility.
  • Tau Reiki: A contemporary integration of both traditions, enriched by neurophysiology, hypnotherapy, and community service.

  • The Gokai (Five Principles): Daily affirmations that guide ethical living and emotional balance.
  • Kaishi (Initiation): A ceremonial beginning that marks the student’s entry into the Reiki lineage and opens the path for deeper energetic work.
  • Reiju (Attunement): A ceremonial initiation into Reiki energy, marking each stage of growth.
  • Byosen Scanning: A tactile method for detecting energetic imbalances.
  • Chiryo (Treatment): The full Reiki session, including preparation, intuitive guidance, and aftercare.
