Term Two – Building Your Foundations

Deepen Your Skills. Strengthen Your Presence. Begin Your Practice.

Term Two of the Community Wellness Worker (CWW) program is where your healing journey begins to take root. If Term One was about awakening your potential, Term Two is about cultivating it—refining your skills, expanding your understanding, and stepping into your role as a practitioner.

This term is designed for students who are ready to move beyond theory and into applied healing practice. You’ll deepen your connection to Reiki, explore the layered dimensions of trance, and begin developing the therapeutic presence needed to support others with confidence and care.

🌀 What You’ll Learn

  • Refining Reiki Practice: You’ll build on your foundational Reiki skills with more advanced techniques, learning how to sense subtle shifts in energy and respond with precision. You’ll begin to understand the nuances of energetic flow and how to support healing in real-time.
  • Self and Group Hypnosis: Explore the dynamics of trance in group settings. You’ll learn how to guide both individuals and groups into healing states, and how to use hypnotic techniques to support collective transformation and shared insight.
  • Counseling for Emotional Regulation: Learn how to support clients through emotional turbulence. You’ll study techniques for building rapport, co-regulating nervous systems, and creating safe containers for healing conversations. This is where your counseling skills begin to take shape in real-world settings.

🧘 Why This Term Is Essential

Term Two is the bridge between learning and doing. It’s where you begin to hold space for others, not just as a student, but as a healer-in-training. You’ll start working with clients in supervised settings, gaining the experience and feedback needed to grow your confidence and competence.

This term is ideal for:

  • Students who want to begin practicing with real clients.
  • Practitioners seeking to deepen their emotional intelligence and therapeutic presence.
  • Anyone committed to becoming a trauma-informed, heart-centered healer.

🌿 What You’ll Gain

By the end of Term Two, you will:

  • Be able to offer Reiki sessions with greater sensitivity and skill.
  • Understand and apply hypnotic techniques for emotional support and relaxation.
  • Build therapeutic rapport and begin facilitating healing conversations.
  • Gain supervised experience working with clients in a safe, structured environment.

🪙 Alternative to Cash
Earn Your Learn – Pay with Points

The CWW program is designed to be accessible to all, especially those supporting people with chronic pain or serious illness. For those for whom dollars are scarce, we offer the Earn Your Learn program, where co-op members complete community service work in exchange for their tuition. Here’s how it works.

🔄 Co-op Membership
One dollar per year plus an hour a month of community service.
We call these hours co-op hours because they are like stacking the shelves in a co-op grocery store. Each person does a bit so everyone gets more than they could alone.

🔄 Points System

  • Each co-op hour = 1 point
  • 1 point = $40 in services/products
  • Term cost of $1,200 = 30 points (30 hours of service)
(Typically one day/month + virtual coordination)

📝 Steps to Pay with Points

🔁 1. Become or renew your co-op membership

🗓️ 2. Register for the Term ($20) to reserve your spot

📋 3. Visit the Co-op Assignments page and select assignments
