Certify as Community Wellness Worker

🌿 Empowering Communities with Non-Chemical Palliative Care

Tau Wellness Cooperative’s Community Wellness Worker (CWW) Program is a transformative, part-time training initiative that equips individuals with culturally respectful, non-invasive, non-chemical palliative care techniques. At the heart of the program is our Trance/Touch/Technique (TTT) model, which blends Hypnotherapy and Reiki with guidance from Indigenous wellness traditions. We are deeply grateful to our Indigenous partners and Reiki Shihans for their contributions in shaping this approach.

Training also includes arts-based healing and trauma-mitigating counseling, designed to build emotional resilience and nurture emotional intelligence. When combined with TTT, these modalities empower Community Wellness Workers to help individuals reduce reliance on pharmaceuticals, manage chronic conditions more effectively, and recover more quickly from illness or medical interventions—whether within formal healthcare settings or community-based wellness programs.

What is the difference between the CWW and the CHT programs?

CWW students train in all the same practices as CHT students, but do not participate in the Monday IACT Certification online classes.
CWW students access all core training materials, read only, no testing.
The CWW certificate is issued by the Tau Wellness Cooperative.
The CHT certificate is issued by the International Association of Counselors and Therapists.
