About the Village
Make room in your week for something that matters to you. In WychBourne Village, you can put a lifetime of experience to use, do something good for someone else and have people to laugh with along the way.
Bring a story to a puppet scene, help someone feel at home at a gathering, or share a skill with a younger neighbour. You can be part of the Village without becoming a performer or taking on a training role. There is work worth doing here, and room for some serious fun.
If you worry about the world our grandchildren will inherit, this is somewhere to start close to home. Making things together, listening across generations and learning to look after one another are things we can do now. The Village gives you people to do them with, and a reason to keep showing up.
We are aiming for a Village of 150 over the next three years: small enough for familiar faces and lasting friendships, with enough people to share the work and try new ideas. Within that community, 24 puppeteers and 24 Community Wellness Workers will help bring stories and support into Village life. You can help shape it while it is taking root.
