Your Village Character connects you with one of these eight established teams. Everyone shares responsibility, with the First Threads Character as lead. Primary and Secondary troupe selections do not change these teams. Choose for interests you would like to develop as well as skills you already have.
Wychbourne’s eight Establishments are small teams that share the work of village life, from hospitality and learning to making and theatre. Each brings together three Village Characters. Explore the teams below and choose one that matches your interests and the skills you would like to develop.
The Village Character you choose connects you to that Establishment and becomes your personal guide throughout your time in Wychbourne. Your Character helps you find your way, reflect on what you are learning and keep track of your progress as you take part. Return to your Character through your personal account to continue the conversation and build on your experience.

Freyja’s Pub
Welcome people into village life, host gatherings, encourage participation and keep hospitality arrangements current. This suits people who enjoy listening, making introductions, helping others feel included and organizing welcoming spaces. Quiet, thoughtful hosts are as valuable as outgoing ones.

Sága’s Halls
Coordinate village administration, meeting records, schedules and follow-through across the troupe. Dev is the Mayor and Establishment lead. This suits people who enjoy organizing information, fair discussion, practical planning and helping a team keep its commitments.

Skaði’s Market
Look after promotion, community outreach, public information and the practical coordination of market activity. This suits people interested in clear communication, design, relationship building, marketing and keeping a useful to-do list.

Sif’s College
Support learning plans, study resources, practice opportunities and the recording of human-assessed progress. This suits curious people who enjoy learning, explaining ideas, organizing resources or encouraging another learner.
First Threads lead: Maren.
Eir’s Clinic
Support wellbeing, accessible participation, check-ins and appropriate referrals within the programme. This suits attentive listeners interested in care, inclusion, privacy and respectful boundaries; participation does not require presenting yourself as a health professional.
First Threads lead: Nia.
Sól’s Studio
Look after arts and crafts, puppet wardrobe, props, fabrication, materials and practical making sessions. This suits people who enjoy working with their hands, visual creativity, repair, resourcefulness or learning a new craft. Ceremony belongs with Jörð’s Grove.

Jörð’s Grove
Support reflection, ceremony, seasonal transitions and shared meaning in village life. This suits people interested in thoughtful facilitation, nature, attentive listening and helping a group mark important moments together.
First Threads lead: Rowan.
Gná’s Theatre
Coordinate skit development, rehearsals, performance readiness and theatre activity. Kai is the Theatre Director. This suits people interested in storytelling, improvisation, performance, backstage coordination or helping a group turn ideas into a shared presentation.
