This is called Gathering because we gather together Western and Japanese Reiki techniques into a single course. We begin with the two day / 12 hours of training and initiations common to 1st Degree Western Reiki. Each course includes five months of Reiki practice and additional learning where we introduce the range of traditional practices that have been introduced into the Reiki in Japan since 2000.
This course is designed to meet Canadian Reiki Association (CRA) standards for Level One Reiki Training. The course provides 6 hours of instruction and 6 hours of Reiki practice that contribute to your CRA registration requirements as a Practitioner.

Evening Before
7:00-8:00 pm - Zoom Gathering for intros and questions.
Day One
9:00 – Doors Open
9:30 – 11:30 - History of Reiki
11:30 – 1:00 – Level One 1st Initiation (attunement) – lunch
1:00 –4:00 – Reiki Practice Session
Day Two
9:00 – Doors Open
9:30 – 11:30 - The Five Principles of Reiki
11:30 – 1:00 – Level One 2nd Initiation – lunch
1:00 – 4:00 – Reiki Practice Session
Weekly Reiki Practice Sessions (練習 Renshū)
From November to March
Wednesdays 5:30 -7:00 pm - VicWest Community Centre
Monthly Study and Reiju Kai (調査 Chōsa)
New Moon of the month from 4:00 to 7:00 pm - Tau Wellness Centre, Sooke.
