Fundamentals of Therapeutic Touch is an introductory course on the principles and practices of Therapeutic Touch (TT), a touch-based palliative skill using Reiki. Students will explore the prehistorical source of all touch-based healing, the roots of common practice in ancient Egypt and China, Reiki’s history, theoretical foundations, and essential techniques. The course includes lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on practice, equipping students with the skills to apply Reiki in various settings while understanding its ethical considerations. A Level One Reiki initiation is included in the course.
