The Tau Internship program is a way to complete training in Therapeutic Touch, Counseling, and Therapeutic Trance in exchange for completing community service at our 3 Mothers Medicine Camps.
The Tau Internship program is an ideal way for students in any healthcare program to broaden their knowledge in the healing arts of touch and trance.
Available positions are limited to five for each term. Selection is first come, first served of best qualified candidates.

Tau Centre for Therapeutic Trance is a service of Our_Community Health Initiative Cooperative (OCHI), a not-for-profit community services organization.
The Tau Centre for Therapeutic Trance is certified by the International Association of Medical and Dental Hypnotherapists.

At Tau we take a different approach to life-long learning that prioritizes the learning experience over speed of completion.
We offer a 3-year, part-time, program that integrates Therapeutic Touch, Therapeutic Arts, and Therapeutic Trance.
Our programs are self-paced, and self-directed, combining multiple online learning resources and hands on training at the Tau Wellness Centre.
Our programs are designed so working adults and students can complete their studies while maintaining their current obligations.

Tau training is provided during two terms each year, Winter (November to March) and Summer (May to September) April and October are reading breaks.
Community Service Days are the second Saturday each month. (except April and October)
First term training days are on the first Saturday each month, Second Term training days are on the third Saturday of each month, and Third Term training days are on the fourth Saturday.
A schedule of training days and community service days is sent to all applicants.

Students are registered in the International Association of Counselors and Therapists (IACT) at the start of the second year.
Successful completion of the program certifies the student as a Community Wellness Worker and to register as a Certified Hypnotherapist through IACT.
